Hide and Seek
They were but kids at heart. Joyous in their games of hide and seek. The games never ended but the zest to find each other from behind the veils and curtains did. And it was never a fault of either one, getting busier with the tremendous task of the day or rather pretending to be. They replaced the veils with masks and the curtains with walls, trying harder not to be found. Years later they wondered what was wrong and they realized that nothing was, they simply weren't the same kids anymore.
Forever
The idea of forever was a little different to him than most people. While the world counted its forever in terms of its existence, he counted his such that it surpassed time. Like the sea anemone that lived only to exist, he existed only to love, for love and life were the same thing for him. The anemone filtered the salty seas from morning till night, and he skimmed his thoughts for the sweet memories that fueled his life.
